{Some Exciting News!}

Hello Dear Friends

A lot has been going here on my side...okay maybe not a lot considering I haven't applied for a job yet, but just as I was about to, I received some amazing and exciting news....!

I AM GOING TO BE AN AUNT!!!!

Steven's sister, Leeann, who is also like a sister to me...called me up on Easter and had me put the call on speaker. At first I didn't understand why, I thought something had happened and was ready to catch a flight back to Idaho, but after I put the phone on speaker, her exact words were, "Tiffany...on November 26th of 2016, how would you like to become an Aunt?"
Well right then and there I started crying! I was so excited by the news that I didn't even realize tears were rolling down my cheeks <3 I also realized that a part of me wasn't only crying for excited, but for sadness as well. Steven is not always able to keep in touch with his family or myself often and knowing how excited he would've been if he were home to hear the news <3 really made my heart hurt. I understand the risks and the sacrifices he has to make with him being in the military and this being his job, but I won't lie....I am struggling a little as a first timer myself.

Steven will also be missing his sisters wedding in July, and that just broke my heart more. Leeann was originally going to have her wedding in November when Steven came home, but some complications came up and was now moved to July, and now with her being pregnant, they had to move it sooner. I am having the privilege of being her Maid of Honor and there was a chance Steven was going to be Daniel's Best Man <3 but life will always find a way to kick a person in the butt! Only great thing Steven will be home for is the birth of our brand new Niece or Nephew and we cannot be more excited! <3

  This picture was taken on Christmas Day by Steven's wonderful mom <3 and this is my new favorite picture by far <3 Not only can you see the love between Steven and myself, but we were being silly and when he saw Renae pull up the camera and point it at us, he immediately pulled me in and gave me the biggest, romantic kiss I have ever had <3
This man means more to me than life itself, and even though I think I am doing okay with him gone....the truth is I'm not! And when I realize that sometimes, it hits me like a brick in my face! It hits me pretty hard <3
Just knowing that I have finally found the man I have always dreamed of and now have to sit and wait for him to come home.....it sucks! But I will sit here and wait forever if I have to because he is worth it, and I'm sure if any other military girlfriend or wife is reading this right now...you will agree with me 100%.

These are what I call "My Deployment" photos :) I decided to send a care package to Steven for his Birthday last month and in it I put a whole bunch of goodies like Reeces, Skittles, Protein Bars, a bag of chips, a pack of sour worms, and a jar of sour worms with a note on it that read "Hooked to YOU since 2/7/2015" <3 Along with all those goodies I packed two sketch pads, two boxes of coloring pencils, pencils, and a sharpener. My man loves to draw and I figured that would give him more to do while he's away <3 I also packed one of my Portugal shirts for him (seeing as I'm Portuguese) and one of my blankets both sprayed with my perfume <3 I then made pockets on the flaps of the box and stuck a Slim Jim on the one side, and a birthday letter from me and my family on the other side <3 Now you're probably wondering how he managed to see these pictures....well I saved the best for last <3 I put together a little album with all of the first pictures we ever took together until now <3 we have been together for a year a nearly 2 months so there were a lot of pictures I had to choose from LOL but I also stuck souvenirs from our trips together <3 It was just something really special for my wonderful man <3

When he was able to get hold of me, he was so excited about everything I had sent and loved every single piece. That's how I know this is all worth it, because at the end of the day, no matter how hard this may be for both of us....we will ALWAYS find our way back to each other, no matter what! <3

Well that's my blog post for today...showing off all the love I have for my man <3 haha
I would like to know how all of you are doing :) just drop a comment below! Don't be shy!

Have a great day/night everyone! <3
God Bless <3

{Moving...Distance...HELP!}

There have been a lot of changes going on around here, and my life feels like it is going over a big bump right now! My family and I have been packing to move to Texas to reunite with my Tia and the rest of my family...but while all of this was happening, I had to say goodbye to Steven as he left on a MEU for a 7 month deployment....I tell you...that was one of the hardest things I ever had to do in my life! :( Things do not feel right without him here and it is a horrible feeling, but I have decided to jump right in and battle this war head on because I refuse to give up on what we have! The exciting thing though, is that by the time Steven gets back, we are going to be getting engaged....and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with the man of my dreams! <3

Yup...this is my Cowboy / Marine / The Man of my Dreams <3 I would not trade him for anyone else in this whole world <3 I just Pray these 7 months go by fast. Please keep him in your prayers and keep us in your prayers <3 That would be very much appreciated :)

We have also managed to get to Texas safely :D it was a 3 day drive down here, but it was worth it in the end! We are now reunited with family which feels great...being alone sucks, especially when you really need someone to talk to. As much as I love my mom and as much as I love how strong our relationship has gotten, sometimes I just need to talk to Jasmine or to my Tia and it really helps me a lot especially with what I have been going through lately...nobody will understand my distance from Steven better than my Tia who has been through this many times before. Being a military girlfriend and soon a military wife, is not easy at all, but I have learned over the past year that sacrifices need to be made in order for you to be happy, and that is why as hard as it is being away from Steven, I will do everything I can to make sure he comes right back to me <3

So that is what I have been up to all this time, again, I am so sorry for not posting but from now on I will try to get back on it :)

Have a great day and God Bless

xXx

{A lot Going On...}

Hey everyone,

So I've delayed posting due to Steven being home, packing for our move, and just trying to live life to the fullest at this point. I know that non of this is an excuse to stop blogging but I am only 19 and still have my whole life ahead of me.

First things first...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 2016...I still cannot believe it, feels as if the world is not meant to go on this long. I don't know if that's just me feeling that way, but I'm weird so who cares right? LOL
I started my New Year with the love of my life, he managed to come home for Christmas which is a true Blessing <3 He was supposed to get here at midnight on Christmas Eve which is technically Christmas morning, but his flight got cancelled due to the horrible weather, but the upside was that he got to stay home for 6 extra days which was beyond amazing...God really does make Blessings in disguise :)

Secondly...we have decided to move to Texas to be with my Tia Sandra, Uncle Curt, and the cousins <3 I am super excited! We are pretty much packed and ready to go, but even though the excitement is killing, I am also upset that we will be moving :(
We have made a home here where we are and it took us nearly 3 years to learn where everything is and to learn how to do things, etc so it's gonna be difficult to learn everything again in a new state, but it's a new adventure and that's all that matters! :)

Thirdly....Steven's sister is getting married at the end of this year and I have been asked to be her Maid of Honor, which is a HUGE deal for me, and so I have been planning, helping with ideas and venues and all that, but the only problem is, I'm not gonna be here for all the fun stuff :( which sucks! I am going to try and make it down to do as much as I can to still be a part of the wedding :) I'm actually pretty excited because I have never been Maid of Honor before, so I'm pretty amped!

So yeah..that's what has been going on lately. I hope you are all doing well :)

God Bless

{Just A Week and A Half!!}

Hello dear friends! :)

Today has been a very cold and windy Tuesday, perfect for staying inside in front of the heater and under the blankets. I cleaned the house a little and rearranged my room and in the process of doing that...my boyfriend who I haven't spoken to in 2 weeks texted me and I tell you...I literally jumped for joy LOL. I got so excited because not only did I hear from him the first time today in 2 weeks, but I am literally seeing him NEXT WEEKEND!! That's right...NEXT WEEKEND! We are beyond excited it's crazy LOL

My dress for the Marine Ball is finally fixed thanks to an amazing friend of mine! When we got the dress, my boyfriend's mom asked if they could alter it so it wouldn't drag on the floor and they ruined my dress completely! One side was longer than the other and it was just horrible, and not only did I have to try and find the perfect shoes to match my dress, they made the dress too short that it showed nearly the whole front of my shoes! Now maybe I'm just a little old fashioned, but a Ball gown is meant to just touch the floor right? Yeah not anymore, they ruined my dress x_x but once again, thanks to my good friend she managed to save it and I got another, shorter pair of shoes and now my dress somewhat touches the floor, so now I am ready for the Ball! Unfortunately I can't put pictures up now because Steven does read my blog and it's kind of a surprise for him hehe

It is that time of year again for tights and my funky long socks. I think I am well known for my funky long socks LOL I absolutely love them and especially in winter. I have so many pairs it's ridiculous! I kind of have a love/hate relationship with Winter...I love it because it's perfect for cuddles and hot chocolate and just staying in, but I hate it because I have to go out in it and feel the cold...if that makes sense haha. I can be a little crazy and go into great detail, but that's one of the many things people love about me.

so that was me dropping in for today. I'm sorry I don't really write up a lot, just those few things have been going on and not much more, but I hope you enjoy reading nonetheless :)

Have a good night everyone and stay warm! <3

{The Excitement Kicking In!}

So Fall is finally here, and I am so excited! Not too keen on the cold weather, but that's nature for you I guess! I actually stole these pictures from my Tia's Facebook page because I just love the beautiful Fall pictures she takes on her camera. These pictures were actually taken last year, but who cares right.....FALL IS HERE!! <3

I woke up this morning exhausted because I could not fall asleep last night and ended up going to bed at 2 AM and it looks like the same is going to happen tonight, which sucks because I need to be up early tomorrow to help Steven's mom take the fur babies to the vet. We are going to be taking Chevy which is Leeann's Chocolate Lab pup and we are also taking Sammy which is Steven's Golden Lab. He's a bit of an old boy and he has a horrible skin condition going on and so we are taking him in for the second time to see if they can figure out what he got into or what is going on, so Prayers that everything is okay with our fur babies! <3

It's one of those nights where I am missing my family back home and now the family in Texas :( I just scrolled through some pictures of all of us from when we were living together all the way through our final moments together and it is heartbreaking. We had amazing moments together and gorgeous memories, I just hope soon enough we will be able to go visit and we could be together again!

Because this is my blog and I feel safe to speak my mind here...I am a little heartbroken that I only got to spend a short amount of time with my Tia who is like a second mother, best friend, aunt and big sister all in one person. She was there for some things and unfortunately missed others, but I got to know her properly and that was what I have been waiting to do since I started walking and talking LOL. I have mentioned before that my Tia moved to the States when I was only a year old, probably going onto 2 years and so I never "knew" her as a person and now that I have she is gone again :( this is not an attack on my aunt, my uncle, or my family in general, but like I said...this is my blog and I feel safe to speak my mind and my feelings. But...life goes on and we have no choice but to get on with it.

I think It's time I leave this post off here :) I hope you all have a wonderful night and an awesome Friday! :)

{Busy Monday!}

And so Monday is done! I'm pretty excited about that...I have had a long, but fun day with my little troublemakers at work. They are so cute and can sometimes be polite, but most of the times they are defiant and have no ears at all and that kind of makes me rethink having a child anytime in the near future LOL!

I am up super late because I was actually watching Monday Night Raw with my family (yes..I am a WWE fan! Have been since I was tiny LOL) and it only ends at 9 PM, so I took a later shower and on top of that I needed to wash my hair and still make it look like pretty hair once I was out haha mostly because I might see my man tomorrow over skype because they might get back from being on the ship for a week (hopefully) and so I decided to make myself look pretty for when I see him.

After a long day at work, mom and I came home to dinner already made and dad had bought a bottle of wine for my mother...talk about a true Blessing right there! My dad is amazing and has gone out of his way to keep us safe and happy...hence moving all the way across the ocean. I'm not saying its safer where we are, but its a lot safer to where we used to be and I have my parents to thank for actually sacrificing everything to give us the life we have dreamed of having.

I guess you can say I'm daddy's little girl...hehe

Well this was a random post, but I just wanted to tell you about my day and just brag about my family a little, but other than that I hope you all had a wonderful Monday...I'm actually gonna go to bed because it's pretty late and I need to be up early...so...goodnight! <3

{Winter is Upon Us}

Hi everyone :)

How are we all doing? I hope you are all doing well and getting ready for winter! Can you believe winter is here already? Anyway...a lot has happened since the last time I was here, where do I begin?...

Well....in about 3 weeks I'm heading to California to spend 5 days with my man and going with him to the Marine Corps Ball which I am extremely excited about. The last time I saw Steven was in June and it's been 5 months! I am so excited to finally be in the arms of my true love once again <3

While I am impatiently waiting to leave for California, I have been working...which I forgot to mention...I got a job as a substitute teacher at a daycare looking after little ones from tiny little babies to 5 year old kids, and I have to say, I actually kind of love it! I want to pull my hair out sometimes, but just sitting with them and watching how they learn and grow really makes my heart warm <3 but unfortunately this was a summer job and ends in 3 weeks and will only open up again next year, which means I need to start looking for a new job x_x but I'm only gonna start doing that once I get back from California, I want to spend as much time with Steven as possible before his 9 month deployment next year.

I have been told many times that military life is not for everyone, and now I understand why, but I refuse to give up on my dream because he is everything I have ever wanted and more. This has been a tough journey so far, and I have no doubt in my mind it's gonna get harder, but I am willing to fight through it all if it means spending my life with the man of my dreams <3
You're probably thinking I'm crazy and obsessive while reading this LOL but after been hurt so many times and you start thinking that no man will ever treat you right, this just happened to be a Blessing from God himself, He sent me a man that is respectful, trustworthy, funny, responsible, and has a heart of pure gold and I am truly grateful for him <3

So that is my blog post for today :) I am going to try and keep at it everyday from now on...and I know I have said that a couple MILLION times haha but I will try from now on, because I actually miss my blog and writing :)

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and I hope you all have an AWESOME week ahead :)<3

{And....It's....Monday!}

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you all had a relaxing weekend and hope you are ready for the busy week ahead! Didn't really want to wake up this morning, but who does on a Monday? Lol I got up pretty late (which is not new for me) and I started on some laundry, washed a few dishes and now I am sitting here typing up this post. I think once I'm done here I can start applying for the jobs I have my eye on, that's if I'm not hanging out with my best friend...or should I say...the sister I never had lol. Leeann is Steven's older sister and while he is gone, we kind of keep each other company....everyday! Haha I love her to death and we really know how to laugh and have a good time.

Even though it's Monday, I have to say it started off perfectly! While I was typing up this post I got a Skype call from my man, out of the blue and that gave me the biggest smile! <3 He just wanted to see me and tell me that he loves me and was hoping to bring him up a little after having a crappy morning, and hopefully I did just that. I love being able to make people feel better and smile, especially if it's the people I love and adore! <3

Right now while the laundry is going and the house is clean, I think I'm going to enjoy a cup of green tea while job hunting.

I hope everyone has an amazing and Blessed Monday! <3

{The Journey is Just Starting}

Well it's been a very laid back summer for me...which is exactly what I wanted before heading out into the world and making my dreams come true. So far I have already found an online fitness course that I am really thinking about joining, as a fitness freak I cannot wait to start my journey in the fitness world and help other people get the body they've always wanted and also show them healthy lifestyles.

I haven't found a beauty school that I want to go to yet, but that will come in later on...right now...I need to find a job!!!.......GRRRRR!!!!!......I have found different jobs already and to be honest I can't wait to start applying, I am really scared but I think the excitement is kind of driving the fear away :) Most of the jobs I have found deal with kids, like baby sitting, or daycare, things like that and I honestly would not mind working with a bunch of little ones. I love kids and even though I might want to pull my hair out at work, I think it will be a fun and joyful experience for me!

Onto my relationship journey with the man of my dreams...things have been a little tough, but not tough enough to drive us apart.....well further than what we are right now. I was going to post about the week he came home after 6 months of being apart, but I was so caught up in the moment and the time we were spending together that I honestly put everything else aside, I know that probably doesn't sound good lol but being away from the one you love for so long and then finally getting to spend time with them again really puts you in a "la la land" state of mind <3 I'm sure a lot of Military couples would agree with me.

It was an amazing week and sadly ended far too quickly for my liking, but unfortunately with the situation we are in, we just have to pick ourselves up and look forward to next time. We still talk everyday, and skype every night which makes it a whole lot easier to be honest, but I am counting down the days till I get to see him and be in his arms again.

This is all still very new to me, I don't know the first thing about being a Military girlfriend and that scares me because the last thing I want to do is screw this up with someone so amazing. I don't think I have ever been in a relationship that was this hard, but I honestly wouldn't trade it for anything else in this world. If there is someone who has been in this situation and knows what it's like, please could you drop down a comment and give me a little advise on how to keep our relationship strong.

A week before my man came home, we had my grandmommies from home come and stay with us for a month :D we had an amazing time showing them around and just spending all the time in the world with them. They were excited to meet my man and his family which was the best feeling in the world knowing that both families love each other lol. The month flew by and we had to say goodbye yet again, if there is one thing you need to know about me, its that I hate to say goodbye, regardless of who it is but to say goodbye to family again....that is not something I take very well, but hopefully I will see them again in the near future, along with Steven :) and I cannot wait!

I hope you have all been well and would love to see what you have all been up to the past few months :)

{I'm Finally Back!}

OMG! It feels so good to be back :D it has been an extremely stressful and crazy few months, but now all is calm and I am ready to tackle my next obstacle!

Yes...I have graduated High School and it wasn't easy either. Coming from South Africa I had to work harder than most students to get the credits I needed in order to graduate, I'm pretty sure I mentioned that before in my previous posts...but anyhow LOL it has been hard and I was so close to actually graduating a little later than I was supposed to. I had to take up another course called IDLA and as easy as they said it would be.....it was all lies!! Haha, but I made it through and here I am ready to tackle the world head on.

Graduating wasn't the only exciting thing that happened to me this year. 5 months I go I met and fell in love with a Marine <3 everything has been absolutely perfect since I met him and I know I said this before, but this feels like the real thing. I have never been so happy with anyone else and I think this is my forever love story <3

We met through a friend and from the first time we looked at each other, something just clicked and if I could, I would do it all over again <3 Our first date was the typical dinner and a movie, but to me...it was ~PERFECT~

So that was what I have been up to these past few months....well....the only two things that were exciting for me!

I hope you have all been well :) please drop down some comments and tell me how you have all been!

Love you all! <3

{Here To Stay...:)}

Hello everyone

I am back and I am so sorry for not updating, but reality is just starting to hit me and I have been busting my ass to try and get my life on track. I have started a whole new course for Math and Language to prepare me for my ISAT's as I did not get the required marks on my previous ISAT's, so I have been working really hard to just get the grades I need, not only in the course but in my actual schoolwork too.

Life right now hasn't been all that bad...I have my amazing friends, and yes there is possibly someone new in my love life <3 not going to mention his name because for all I know, something might not happen and I am not going to push it, all I can say is he is a Marine or should I say, he is training to be a Marine and is in San Diego at the moment doing his training. The good news is he might come home sometime next week and may stay here in Mountain Home for 2 weeks or even a month...so the feeling I have right now......

EXCITED!! <3

But moving on :) I am getting a lot closer with my new friend Hailee and I can tell you, its been a while since I felt like I could talk to someone I actually trust with every secret I have, and I know that she trusts me too considering the things we talk about. I love that child to death, and I honestly think that we are going to be friends for a very long time. She lives my dream life, which is being a country girl, living out in the country, not being afraid to get down and dirty, and also just being able to appreciate life the way it is. I am already getting into the habit of not always caring what people think and whether they like me or not, and its actually amazing because right now I feel like I can breathe.

I feel that all of that sums that up in these pictures...<3

Right now I try and enjoy every little moment I have with friends and obviously my new mystery crush ;)...I try not to worry about my school and grades too much because if I worry and panic I know I will put myself in a state and right now that cannot happen, so I work hard but then I leave the rest in God's hands <3

It feels so good to back, what have you all been up to these past few months? :)

The "Three-nager" Stage

Good morning friends!  Hope y'all had a good Monday and start to the week! I was able to get a good nights sleep last night and Eva did ...
